Hey you're getting big aren't you. I say wiggling my fingers to the greying son of Spotted By A Star. Matty sure didn't waste quality when she bred you, did she, handsome boy. I say praising the famous horse owner.

Poe liked her soft voice and was soon rubbing his head on her sweater and searching her pockets. He was big and strong already, but not clumsy, more like a little tank. Accidently stepping on her foot and he jumped off of it, looking a little crestfallen and not sure how she would react. He was a total sweatheart and already was starting to like Melissa.

You like treats don't you Poe? I might have one in here for you. Ahh yes here it is. I say and give a small piece of carrot to the young col. Smiling when he accidentally steps on my foot. It's okay boy. I tell him and rub his furry coat briskly. Giving him a big hug I tug gently at his mane.

Poe look it lightly from her palm, before shuffling away shyly, and munching it with his tiny baby teeth, swishing his tail. Disney looked up and walked a little closer, looking for bits as well.
[OOC: You and Artie can put their halters on now, they are good, and if you need help leading the mares up to the hitching post just give a shout to Ben or Chase. There is flakes of hay and grain up by the fence to give to the mares while you can brush and blanket the foals. Both Summer and Poe are pretty easy to do things with. Sherlock you just need to catch Flirt and tie her up, then Mavy will stand.]

I chuckled as Poe ambled away. Hey Disney. Would you like a piece? I asked the beautiful broodmare. Fishing out another carrot piece I offered it to the Thoroughbred mare. Patting Disney on the neck I slipped up beside Poe and pulled the halter over his face and attached the lead rope on the ring under the noseband of the halter. Come on sweet guy. I say gently to the young colt tugging ever so softly on the lead rope.

thanks Matty. Can you tell I love him already? lol you know me so well. p.s I'd like a filly next time around hehe. Poe pricked his ears forward and pushed his nose in her pockets looking for another treat. Smiling I gently pushed his nose away and he snorted shaking his head. Careful boy. I murmured to the colt as he nearly barged into one of the other foals, a handsome dark bay colt. Lowering his head Poe ducked around and pressed himself against Disney's offside.

I was glad Melissa and Poe had gotten along so well, and making sure everyone else was fine I jumped the fence and casiously went into the next pasture. Augusta was grazing with CJ by her side. I slowly held out a hand with a large scruptious carrot, as I had done everyday for the last three months. We had come to an understanding. If I bring her a big juicy carrot, then I may play with CJ. I didn't dare take him away from her, and I knew I would have to be stealth when they were weaned. CJ came running over to me after Gussie took her peaceoffering and, keeping a wary eye on her baby boy, grazed a few feet away. I gave CJ a big hug and a scratch. The young colt didn't have big eyes like Geronimo or Remington, but he was beautiful none-the-less. His black bay coat was fluffy, and he already knew his name. Flicking his ears forward he searched me up and down untill I gave him a stud muffin. Patting his neck I put on his blanket which he had already tried on yesterday, and let him run off to be back with his mom. Gussie depised the blanket and had already tried to get it off him, but he liked it and would always snort at her and pretend she should be listening to him. Finally she had just let him be, although he cast hated looks over at the little navy blue and black blanket. CJ pranced around and raced up and down the feilds. Usually they were in a pasture where he could slip under the fence away from Gussie, so he could go play with the other foals, but today with all the people I didn't want to provoke the mare by having other people play with him. Hoping the fence I headed back to the feild to see how everyone was doing.

A smile crept upon her lips as she looked from Matty to Jason. She hadn't been at GS alone before but she was sure this guy hadn't been here before. Shaking the thought away she looked at him with a smile, holding herself back. After all she was the playful sort but she wasn't here to socialise, well at least not with humans. She was here for Dove. At least thats what she had gathered from Matabon. "Aaah a newbie. Well I promise I won't be too rough." She says with a playful smile as she looks over at him. She had been just a young teen when she had last been here with her mother to pick up Major. Oh, and then there was picking up Moose as well. Bringing her mind back to the here and now she looked over at the mares and foals in the far pasture. They all looked great! Then again she was a huge sucker for foals, they were just so cute! She then remembered something and turned back to matty with a smile. "Oh I have some friends out by my car." She says happily. By the familiar red toyota pickup truck was a strapping black stallion known as GS Judgement, a breathtaking black weanling colt known as Undesireable Attention and on top of Major was Maria. She wanted Jackie to handle this one but knew Matty would never forgive her if she didn't come by with Major to say hello. Major snorted softly as he pricked his ears, the familiarity of this place making him feel instantly at home as he stood in the driveway, neck arched and his thick black mane cascading down his well toned neck. Dessie pricked his ears, his eyes darting around the place as he flared his nostrils and pranced restlessly on his hooves. He was definately excited, he had never been outside GMR before.

GS Gallant Prince squealed and pinned back his ears at GS Judgement. Pawing the ground with one hoof the Thoroughbred whinnied out sharply. Prince knock it off. I called from where I was tying up Disney to the hitching post. Peron looked up from where he was contently eating hay from the net and Maggie looked up briefly and whickered to Undesireable Attention before returning to her haynet. Prince snorted once more and swished his tail watching the scene down at the mare's paddock.
Poe whickered slightly in fear and darted beside me nearly tripping me. Steadying myself on the hitching post I nudged the colt away and picked up one of the grooming brushes. Poe stretched out his head to the brush and sighed rubbing his silky nose along my sleeve. Smiling I rubbed his nose and started to gentle brush out all the dirt. Instantly it flew in my face and over my clothes. Poe craned his head around and lipped at my pockets looking for treats.

[ooc]I'm with Smiles, not Sherlock. XD[/ooc]
The brunette smiled as she carefully slipped the halter onto the filly and pulled out a small carrot. "There you go, small, but not too hard." she cooed to the young filly and grinned. She adored this filly already. She clipped the lead onto the filly's halter and held it loosely while she looked over at Smilie. She was certainly a gorgeous mare. She turned back to the filly and showed her the blanket. "I do not want you spazzing at me for surprising you, so I am showin' you this first." she explained to the filly, though she doubted she understood anything except possibly Summer.

The black ford '350 pulled into the yard of Godolphin, its diesel engine sputtering to silence as it once again died. Two people popped out of the truck, followed by a small black fox and a ticked off border collie. The driver, a blond in her early twenties, ran to the back of the truck, which conveniently had a trailer hitched to it, and undid the emergency door. Once she saw that both horses were all right, she opened the back door and let it fell down to form the ramp. Seth, come get your colt. she yelled, stepping back as a toned chestnut hind leg kicked at her. I'm coming. I grumbled, moving quickly around the side of the trailer and dodging another kick aimed at Shay. Easy Axe. It's just me. That ugly old Shay won't bother you. I cooed, slowly approaching his head and stroking his cheek. He calmed almost immediately upon seeing me, and waited docilely as I unclasped him and trotted him out. Shay gave a loud 'hmph' toward my comment, but I didn't bother to apologies. She entered the trailer, now occupied by two horses. A some-what chubby yearling, and her first horse round with foal. Whinnie, Drake, let's go see Matty. she said excitedly, unclasping both mare and her foal, and walking them out.
Drake, a brown colt out of Auther's Excalibur, already had almost half his body covered in dapple grey hairs. Once he turned two, he would enter a few races, then when three, move on to stakes races, then when he peaked at five to seven, he'd be retired and start showing. He was left on a free reign, as he mostly stayed close to his dam, even though he was well away from nursing. Whinnie, a dark bay Smiles Boo daughter, had been semi-retired so she could have at least two foals, then get back into shape for hunter. Shay led Whinnie to the owner of Godolphin, an excited Drake trotting at his dam's side. Hey Matty. I know I haven't seen you around for a bit. But, Whinnie's doing great and is ready to start showing again. And Drake is almost under saddle. He's by Arthur's Excalibur. she greeted, her normally blank face breaking into a smile.
I frowned a little as Shay left us alone. Not even a 'See you later' or 'Bye'. But then, I remembered, she was Shay, and I hated Shay. Come on Axe. Let's go see your evil step sister and Tori. I suggested, though I jingled his lead and made him walk along to the pasture. Quietly, I glanced around to see if anyone was watching, then kicked against the ground and clambered onto the chestnut's back. His ears pricked forward, and he tossed his head, trotting excitedly as he felt my weight settle on his back. Now he could go faster. I kept the lead tight, even though it did nothing in controlling him. Axel broke to a canter, his legs carrying us smoothly over the rough ground. He moved faster, trying to gallop. But we reached the pasture before he could, and slowed again to a trot. I let him go around the perimeter as a way of cooling him down, and I searched for Augusta and GS Romantica. I spotted Tori first. A dark bay, almost black bay, and her dam, Sin's View. When she was older, she'd probably winter a lighter bay, but come summer, would darken to an almost perfect black. Then, I found Augusta. She was tugging against her line, clearly unamused by the tie down. She wanted to run, to help her colt as she did with Contessa. Tone their muscles, boost their stamina, anything just to get them galloping. Her own sort of training. But she settled a few minutes, nuzzling C.J. and showing her usually hidden soft-side.
I spotted Artemis by the fence, watching the Djerba foal. I gave a friendly wave, because she was the only one I kind of knew. I wasn't sure if she noticed me, but then again, I didn't like to be the center of attention. Axel fidgeted under me, stopping and pawing the grass as a way to relieve boredom. All right, let's go see the owner then. I mumbled, nudging him to Matty but making him trot ONLY. I halted him a few feet away, so she could acknowledge me first before conversation.

[OOC: Artie your good to go and roleplay Summer now, I think you two will get along great! Hehe yes, I meant Flirt haha] I spotted Maria and gave her a big wave, before going up and seeing Major. "Hey Buddy! And who is this?" I said as I kissed his muzzle and gave him a big hug, and then looked at Dessie who I have a good scratch to as well. "Maria if you want, there is a couple large pastures if you follow the path left, if you want you can let Major and Dessie go for a run, plus Boo can spot him from there. He is out pretending to be wild." I said with a grin as I watched Boo rear and parade around far out in his pasture by the mountainside.
Jason gave a weak smile as he grabbed Dove's burgundy halter, black blanket with burgundy trim, and black lead, and handed it to Jackie. " You will really like Dove, she is just a little firecracker! She's one of my favourites." He said getting a little excited and loosening up. He ducked under the fence and walked over to Jasmine and her baby. Dove was rearing and running around Jas, bucking and kicking, snorting and running into her mom, who just snorted and gave up with trying to get her to sit still. When she saw Jason he ran up to him and Jackie. "She's fearless, you won't have any trouble with getting her halter on," He said with an affectionate laugh as he ruffled Dove's tiny little forelock, her small star visible. She has bright eyes, full of mishcheif, as she reached out her tiny brown muzzle to Jackie. Seabiscuit and Man O' War were lead out into a large pasture not far from the foal ones, so Jackie could go see Pops afterwards. His deep bay coat and pitch black mane were brushed and neat as he galloped around his pasture, showing off to the visitors and mares.
"Hey Seth!" I called out as I went over to Whinnie and held out my palm with a juicy peice of apple. "Hi Whin," I cooed as I gave her cheek a good scratch. I went and looked at Drake. "He looks really nice, how old is he?" I asked as I scanned the pastures. "There is two big ones right beside Infinitee and San D' Aigo Secrets if you want to let them loose while you play with Tori." I said as I looked over everyone and their new foals, making sure everything was going well.

I nodded, smiling a bit. Tori would be my foal, my first filly. He's just about two years. He'll be in his maiden by the end of November. I explained, watching Shay give each horse a loving pat before turning them and going to the indicated pastures. I nodded again, then cantered Axel over to the second pasture and let him loose. He threw up his head and bolted, showing off for the mares. Drake raced him along the fence-line while Whinnie grazed contently in the middle. Shay climbed onto the fence and sat there, volunteering herself for watching the horses. I didn't complain, and ran back to the foal pasture. I slid through the bars and walked between the mares, finally finding the chestnut mare known as Sin's View. The dark bay filly couldn't be far off, so I hummed quietly, waiting for Tori to make her appearance.

Tori nervously approached Seth. I came down and handed her Tori's silver halter, black lead, and silver-trimmed black blanket. Tori knickered to me and looked warily at Seth. "Just go slow, she will get used to you. She has just started to get friendly with me. You may need to catch mom to get to Tori," I said as I turned and went back up to keep and eye on everything. The bay filly flicked her ears forward and slowly took a step forward, but didn't stray far from her mom.
