As you drive up the maple-lined driveway of Godolphin you can't help but feel the excitement buzzing through the air. There is a map of Godolphin in the "Godolphin Stables" board if any wish to use it. All the young racers and eventers are in the main barn and are all $15,ooo each. Everyone of them is in their individual stall with a now larger black blanket with the trim in their color, along with a leather halter and black lead that hang on their doors. Each halter reads their name, engraved on a brass plate, the name hopefully the crowds will cheer for one day soon. They have all been out in two huge pastures (fillies in one, colts in another) from when they were yearlings to when they turned two. For six months they have been broke and trained by Matty. Now fit, muscled, and bodyclipped, they are now ready to start the second stage of their lives...

The SUV's tires spun on the pavement as the young woman drove it up the GS driveway. A brown package in the passenger seat crashed to the floorboard and she sighed glancing in the rearview mirror as the trailer rumbled along behind the SUV. The trailer held a gorgeous chestnut filly she had been dying to show Matty since her birth almost 10 days eariler. Parking the car and trailer next to the barn Melissa hopped out and smiled happily at being at the historic Godolphin stables once again. The sound of hooves kicking the wall of the trailer rang out and Santana gave a sharp whinny not at all liking the fact being locked up in the trailer. "Just a few more minutes Ana and then you can come out." Melissa called to the newest addition to WB's premier future racing string before scanning her brown eyes around the yard looking for Matty and most importantly GS Poetic Justice.

Matty shushed a bouncing and barking Lily, Dallas, and Crystal into a stall and shut the bottom half of the door. Lily's eyes and ears flew above the door as she leaped up, but soon disappeared, only to jump up again. "You two can't come out unless someone brings another dog. You will seriously cause WAY to much trouble if your not entertained." Matty laughed with a shake of her head as Lily's eyes once again appeared for a brief second over the door. Matty turned and walked out of the barn and into the crisp, fading winter air. Spotting Melissa and a slightly familar blazed chestnut face she grinned and came over. "Hey! Is this Santana!? I can tell, look at those eyes, and that face!" Matty said as she took a mint out of her pocket and held her hand out for the young filly to see. "Spartan is out in his front pasture, rolling in the mud of course, but Tor is out with Jamie in their pasture on the other side of the driveway, if you would like to let them out together. Tor is being weaned anyways, not that it matters, he doesn't even realize when we take Jamie away, but it would be nice if he had a friend." Matty said with a smile. "Poe is right in the Main Barn too, you'll see his stall with his name on it." she added.

The navy blue SUV drove up the drive, with the black and gold double-decker trailer being dragged behind. Sherlock halted it in a parking lot and then hopped out. She walked up to where Matty was standing outside the main barn, and smiled, "Hi Matty. I'm here to pick up my new star!" She laughed lightly and glanced around the scenic property.

"Yep this is Santana." She said with a smile as she backed the gorgeous chestnut out of the trailer. "Unique markings aren't they?" Melissa asked giving Ana a big hug who looked a bit angry at being locked up in the scary trailer for so long but a bit shy at the public display of affection all at the same time. "I think I'll let this gal run with Tor and Jaime if that's okay?" she added before leading Ana toward the pasture where the grey Thoroughbred and her chestnut colt were. Gently pushing open the gate she led Ana in and the chestnut filly pricked her ears to Tor and flung her head skyward with a sharp niegh. "Okay little lady, don't cause too much trouble." Melissa said in mock warning to the spirited Xenophon daughter. Unclipping the lead from Ana's halter she left Ana's halter on to make it easy for Melissa to catch her as she was going though a catch-me-if-you-can phase. Bouncing happily toward the main barn she peered eagerly in each of the stalls until she came to Poe's stall.

Matty waved at Sherlock. "Hey! He's right in the Main Barn. I doubt you will recognize him, but his stall door has his name on it." Matty said. She prefered to let the new owners find their horses on their own, since they hadn't seen them since they were weanlings. Poe raised his dappled head, his dark gray forelock falling over his dark eyes. Flicking his ears forwards at the sound of approaching voices the young thoroughbred moved around his stall, unsure of what to expect. His short clipped face was scrubbed and clean, his muscled pelt sleek under his new blanket. Mavy busied himself with chewing on his bucket, his unmarked face full of energy and life. He looked plain as plain could get, until you looked over his door and saw a pinky white sock on each leg. They were short, and only went to about his ankles, but they made him flashy and easy to follow on the track, and gave him a unique look. Matty watched as Tor took off after Ana, his ears back as he let out a squeel and ran around, his tail slightly flagged in excitement. He loved a good challenge, and was at a bratty colt stage in life, although he respected Matty, he was still a pain in the ass most of the time!

I had been psyched about this since the first time I saw Tori. And now I could take her home. After coughing up 15,000, that is. I would've skipped into the barn, if I weren't keeping up an image. Hey, I'm here for Romantica! I called, spotting some people up ahead.

Turning around Matty grinned. "Hi Seth. Right down there." she said as she pointed into the barn. Tori, the young Smiles Boo x Sin's View filly was eating her hay with a passion, her good weighted sides breathing rythmically. I wish she was always that eager to eat Matty thought as she heard the young Boo daughter toss her bucket, getting all the bits of grain out, her dark bay pelt clean and short. They all looked superb, ready to take on and defy the racing and eventing world, now it was just up to these new owners to conquer their weaknesses, and take them to the top.

Kick! I crowed, jogging down to the filly's stall and watching her eat. It seemed only a few months ago that she was a little weanling, hiding behind her dam. Tori. I crooned, glancing briefly back at the truck and trailer to make sure the colt on the other side of the barrier hadn't broken out.

This would be the first time Lana would be seeing the foal, and she was excited! wo lana don't drive so fast. Chad joked. Sorry I can't help it! I smile, I swear it felt like days before we finally came to GS. OMG! I scream Sorry just really excited. I say quickly, when Chad jumped. I had finally discover my love for horses once again. Now to only remember how to train them. The nervous thought ran through my mind, but I pushed it away. I just about jumped out of the truck with putting it in park. Once out I went to where my sweet colt was. I couldn't wait to see him!

With a sharp squeal Ana spun around and took off with Tor in hot pursuit her tiny hooves digging in the turf with ears back as her muscles stretched out as her tail half-flagged into the air. Ana tossed her head and gave a half-hearted cow-kick out of playfulness. The filly was certainly a sight to behold with her flawless looks and a captivitation that just drew your eyes to her.
"Hey Poe." Melissa said softly eyes running over the grey's finely trimmed body and good straight legs. Stepping up to the door she held out a hand to the colt encouragingly.

The infamous white SUV drove up and was towing a two-horse white trailer behind that had "Doku Sareru" emblazoned on one side of the trailer in gold script. Parking it, the brunette jumped out of the car and locked it as she walked towards Matty. "Hiya! I'm here to see... Summer!" she said thoughtfully after blanking out and trying to remember who she was here to see.

[ooc] Carma, you can go ahead and RP Tess, she will just be a little nervous but it won't last long. She is in her bubble, not like when she gets to the track but I am sure it won't take long to overcome all that. Mel you can also RP Poe, you know how he is. Lana and Artie once I reply you are also free to RP Ben and Summer ;D[/ooc]
Matty stepped out of the way as Lana flew through the barn door. Ben was standing calmly in his stall, his kind bay face turning to look at the new stranger. He was no longer weak and small, but muscled and looking just as good as all the other horses. His ears flicked forwards and back as he moved closer to the door, unsure of all these people and the sounds of anxious horses. Summer was fast asleep in the sawdust, her eyes closed and her muzzle tucked close beside her. Even with all the sounds and commotion she didn't bat an eyelash, but kept on sleeping undisturbed. You would seriously have to yell in her ear if you wanted her to get up. Nothing phased her.

OOC: Thanks Matty.
Flicking his ears forward a bit Poe snorted and cautiously stretched his muzzle toward her outstretched hand allowing her familiar scent to fill his nostrils. With a happy whicker the grey colt stepped closer remembering that smell. Running her hand along Poe's neck Melissa smiled brightly and gently kissed the colt's nose. Snorting softly Poe stepped away a bit gazing at her shyly by the public display of affection. "Hey sweetie, you're going to have to get used to it." she said teasingly and was answered by Poe's swishing of his tail.

I smile once I see Ben. I had been bugging Chad for all the info., and now he was strong. I knew there were problems during his birth, but now he looked great! Hey Ben I smile as I enter his stall. I hold out my hand, so he could smell it. I spoke in a soft tone. I saw Ben was tensed, and calmed him, by talking in a smooth vioce, and rubbing between his eyes. I heard someone walk up behind me, and so I turned around. I smile when I saw it was Chad. Hes amazing! I say. Yes he is. Chad agreed and smiled.
