i took a short breath as i looked down at the white great dane puppy at my feet. his ears perked forward as he looked ahead of us. "come on benji. we've both got someone to meet." i spoke to him softly before heading off towards where matty was. "hey! i'm here to see dove!" i said excitedly. benji came up by my side, nuzzling my leg as he noticed my excitement for the foal.

Matty got off the bench she had parked herself down on and smiled. "Hey Sabz. Right down there, she's the chestnut with the star and small little ears." Matty said as she pointed down the isleway. Melissa and Poe looked like they hadn't skipped a beat, Artie would have some trouble making Summer get up, but Matty knew they were both stubborn enough to chase the roses in eventing and be an unbeatable force. Lana looked like she was going to drive Chad insane, but even a glimmer of excitement could be seen to pass even his face, and Seth had the commitment to make Tori her very best at all times, and the passion and endurance to fuel it. Matty strolled into the barn and walked over to CJ's stall. The black bay Augusta son was pawing at the ground, trying to pull up the rubber mats. His eyes were nothing like Spartan's chocolate brown, but more of an endless pool of black ink, and his face was clipped short so the pink skin underneath his odd-shaped white star was visible. "Hey you. Causing trouble like always?" Matty chuckled as he gave her a nonguilty look. "I'll give you some attention later, gotta make sure everyone is happy." Matty said as she scratched softly underneath his chin. It had been a long time since she had owned a black bay, and to tell the truth she actually missed the near black color in the barn. She had Miss Matinee and Storm who were the grays, Boo and Rio who were black, Spartan, Lucky, and Warrior were the chestnuts, as well as Cali who was a liver chestnut and Pops and Suncrest Lily who were standard bays, yet it had been a long time since the black bay made Goolphin its home. [Rambling I know, but there is seriously nothing to talk about! OH, and there is a table with fizzy drinks, alcoholic coolers, and sandwiches. NO, not fake itty bitty expensive sangys, I am talking about REAL ones, big and homemade and GOOD!]

Jess pulled up the drive in her truck with her trailer hooked up. The horse that were at GMV5 were all inside axioulsy watiting to get home. Matt was in the passenger seat mumbling away to himself. There wre trucks and trailers everywhere, it was going to be hard to squeeze in but they did. Matt flung out of the truck, and Jess was right behind him. They followed all of the commotion into one of the big barns where everyone was talking and seeing their to be champion racers or show horses. Jess saw the drinks and food, and rushed over there, and grabbed two coolers. She was in need of one of these. She tossed one to Matt and they went and found Matty. "Hola amigos, come stas?" Jess said to Matty, not knowing if she knew what the last part meant. Matt went and found Jazz. Jazz certainly wasn't too sure of him, but they would have to get along eventually.

Tori, ready to go home? You'll have a bunch of friends, and once you get accustomed to the barn, I'll start with your track problem. I rambled, unlocking the stall door and slipping inside her stall. The filly regarded me cautiously, bobbing her head and backing a bit as I entered her stall. She must've forgotten me a bit. It had been a while since we last met. Tori look! I gasped, pulling out a packet of breath-mints and rustling the tubed rapping. Axel and Tessa already recognized that sound and would come galloping in from across the field. Soon Tori would be able to do that. I snapped one out and offered it to the Smiles Boo daughter. She lipped at my hand uncomfortably, but accepted the mint and crunched it peacefully. I clipped a lead to her halter and ran a hand down her neck a few times to get her accustomed to me. I then nudged the door open a bit more with my foot and walked out, Tori following me hesitantly.

Matty laughed at Jess. "Hola amigoay, and you already know I don't know what that means!" she laughed as she looked at Jazz. It had been a long time since she had seen a Jet son, and he definatly looked the part. "Heya bud." she said softly as she rubbed his skinny blaze. He was always so nervous, even now his big eyes were wide and unsure, although he relaxed a little around Matty and hopefully soon, Jess. "Hey Tori, you and Seth getting along ok?" Matty asked as she dug through her pockets and found a worthers original, holding it out to the young filly. It was literally inhaled. "They are her fave." Matty said with a wink as she gave Tori a kiss on her velvety muzzle, her dark bay coat shinning under the sun as she was taken out of her stall and into the day, her finely boned face prettier than most of her breed. "Everything all set?" Matty asked as she went to lower the trailer ramps for Tori and Jazz, sad to see them going, but also brewing with excitement to see them in the show ring and race track in the Spring (as soon as you want, but Jazz needs to be trained more before, since he knows only basic stuff, and 2 1/2 in eventing is a lot different than racing ;D). Jess laughed at Matty's coment, and went into Jazz's stall and slipped on his halter. Matt had left and was waiting by the trailer. Jazz wasn't too sure of Jess, but he did let her put his halter on. Jess let Matty have one last pet, and then lead him out to the trailer. Jazz'z eyes were wide, not to sure of he wanted to go, but he walked with Jess at a save distance. Matt and Matty got the trailer open. Jazz was going at the end beside Bart. I saw Fire's ears prick up as he heard my voice. "Thanx again Matty for everything!" Jess said as she loaded Jazz into the trailer. He was a little hesitant, but he sure didn't want to get smacked in the butt with a broom, for he knew that Matty would do that if he didn't get in. Bart and Fire let out a some low nickers at the new comer. The others were all too tired to care. "Well, I will pop by later and catch up with you then. But for now I have to get all of these rascals home. Talk to you later Matty!" Jess said as she hopped in the truck. Matt locked up the trailer said goodbye to Matty, and then we were off for home. (ooc: Dont' worry, i was planning to have him ready when he was aorund 3 1/2. I would like him to start with Rocka, Memoir, Dewie, and the others. That won't be until after the Summer though. Hopefully Bailey will be ready by then too.

Sherlock nodded, "Thanks!" She said, and went to find him. Upon seeing his nameplate she looked at the colt. He had grown a ton, for sure, and he was looking superb. "Wow, Mavy, you've grown!" She exclaimed, looking him over.

"What do you say Poe, should we take you to your new home now?" Melissa asked and the strapping grey colt gazed at her with ears pricked. God, how did she get so lucky to have him. First, Prince who had rocketed his way to the top of the racing world and now this colt who with FS Mockingbird would represent a new generation of WB racers. Poe's silky tail swished over his flanks as he watched her. Giving a short whicker the Spotted By A Star son rested his muzzle in her hand and half-closed his eyes. "Wake up you silly thing." she said with a small laugh at how relaxed the handsome colt was with her.

Matty made herself smile as she gave Jazz one last pat before he got into the trailer and Jess drove away back to Western Ridge. As Sherlock saw Mavy, she couldn't help but grin. Mavy would make a great horse for Sherlock and she couldn't wait to see them out there together. Poe was so easy going around Mel, you could see he was unsure about leaving Matty, he trusted her, and was happy here, but curiousity was also very intrigueing.

Running one hand gently down Poe's sweet face she gave a smile when she felt Poe's lower lip wiggle against her hand. His eyes were bright and his ears were pricked with interest.

Your looking great Ben Chad spook to the colt, as he walked in his stall. He remembered the young colt, who was weak, but now he looked so strong! Lana rubbed the colt between the eyes, and gently sweeped his hair that fell over his eye away. Ben nickered and gave Lana a nudge. His ears were pricked toward Lana and Chad...

Matty grinned at Melissa and Lana. "Ready to take your new boys home?" she said with a smile as Lily came bounding out from the stall and over to Matty, her tail wagging a million miles an hour.

Sherlock smiled and walked into Mavy's stall. She stroked the colt and he looked at her a little cautiously before exhaling softly and nudging her. "You're so pretty, Mavy." Sherlock told him. The colt pricked his ears at the sound of his name. "Yes, I'm talking to you. Ready to go home?" She asked the colt, slipping a halter over his head and clipping a lead to it. She led the colt back outside the stable. "I'm going to load him up now, if that's okay." Sherlock said to Matty. "He looks great."

Yah, he does look good, I hope you win a ton on him! Matty beamed as she gave Mavy a pat, wishing the young Determination son good luck with his new owner as she helped to load him into the trailer.

"Absolutely Matty." Melissa replied turning her dancing brown eyes on her friend. She wished she could have brought Skip but the border collie had been fast asleep stretched out on her bed and she hadn't wanted to wake her new puppy. Poe's head raised slightly and he wandered cautiously up to the stall door and poked his head over the door giving a soft whinny to Matty. Melissa smiled and slipped out of the stall. "I'll load him up if it's alright." she said gently easing the halter over Poe's head. The gray colt stood calmly, looking around shyly at all the people, bright eyes flicking back and forth between Matty and Melissa.
