I spotted Lauren and headed over with a wave. "Hey! How are you?" I asked.

I smile. "I'm doing pretty good." I look in at Serenade and smile at the filly's obvious growth and obvious filling out. "She looks awesome. I can't wait to get her to EE so I can start showing and doing my own training with her."

I opened Seren's door, as the black filly stood while I slipped on her halter and walked her out. Ears pricked I rubbed between her deep brown eyes, and handed the black lead to Lauren, as Seren held her head and stomped the ground, before nosing her new owner for treats. She looked a lot like her half sister Glory, and I knew someday, if she ever crossed this gorgeous mare with a stallion like Spot, she would definatly be rewarded. I waited to see what Lauren would think of the broad, muscled young thoroughbred .

I smile and rub the mares head and chuckle when she searches for treats. "My kinda girl," I tease before really stepping back a little bit to get a good look at her. She'd filled out, her mucles obvious and I smiled at Matabon. "She's definitely gonna make a champion one day." I pat her neck again before turning to Matabon and handing over the final payment for the filly. "Thanks Matabon. This is the first time i've gotten a foal from one of these and i'm pretty excited about her."

I smiled. "I'm glad you like her! She is a one of a kind, and one of Boo's last foal crops. He will only have one foal a season, if that, and won't be in the stallion auction any longer, to keep his lines more rare. I wanted him to have all his foals around the same age so he bred a lot of mares last season and this season, but now can focus more on his career." I said as I gave Seren a pat on the neck, and an affectionate rub between those dark chocolate eyes. I walked out the door, letting Lauren lead her new racer out to the trailer.

I walk the filly, who stays by my side without any problems. She was a sweety and an obvious eye catcher and I was glad she was going to be under North Star and Pine Royal's roof. I load her into the trailer without too much hassle and lock everything up securely. I give Maddy a big hug and a smile. "Thanks." I hand her over the 7,000 for the filly.

I gave a wave and went and rubbed the dark fillies muzzle from her window, before hugging Lauren back and handing her the papers as I put the money in my pocket. "I hope to see her on the track soon!" I said with a slight sob, as I watched them disappear down the drive.

Nick gave Willow an affectionate rub behind the ear as he looked to Matty saying goodbye to another fola. He sighed as he clipped on Willow's Lead shank and led him out towards the trailer with Leo inside waiting patiently. He nickered out to Matty, as Willow stood before the trailer, Nick waiting for Matty to come over and say her good-byes.

I went and gave the big gray colt a hug, then shook Nick's hand. "I can't wait for him to give Adiral a run for his money." I said with a laugh, as I gave a wave.

He smiled gently at Matty as he loaded up the colt, he loaded quite easily and was happy to have a travel buddy. [/b] He'll certainly do just that![/b] he teased as he latched the trailer doors closed and Leo nickered out again to Matty. Chuckling he turned to face Matty, You really have done a wonderful job with these horses and I know they'll all do you proud in the ring. he said with a sympathetic nod.[/center]

"Thanks Nick. It's hard to let them go, but it's rewarding to see them do well" I said with a smile, as I went and gave Leo a pat through the trailer window, the big bay stallion was such a character.

Nick was about to jump into the truck when he stopped, Oh, Matty, Leo here is 5 now, but I want to shown him some more. After he has accumulated some points I was wondering if you would be interested in owning a Leo foal?? he questioned through the truck window.

"Hmm, well I have a lot of horses right now, and actually am selling two of them, but I would like to buy a breeding, and maybe use it later on when I have more time." I replied.

Nick smiled and nodded. It won't be for a whil, but I thought i'd give you heads up! he said with a chuckle and then switched gears into reverse. Well, Matty thanks for Everything! See ya later! he called out as he rolled up the window and pulled out of the GS stables towards IGS stables......Their future of racers in tow....

I waved good-bye, then turned and headed into the barn, stopping to give Jamie a pat before I went and checked off Willow's name, the last check for the 2006 foal crop.
