About Her
Jamie is a very talented and diverse mare. She can race, jump, and do dressage. Her brother Boo was never the bright one, and he only did racing, while Jamie can still multi-task. A typical woman. She is powerful, has great endurance, and her dressage is steady and rhythmic. Jamie can extend, collect, do pisages, flying changes, trivares, leg yeilds, shoulder ins, canter and trot pirouettes, and piaffs. She is elegant and very well-trained.
When Jamie was young she did well in racing; a superb sprinter and long distance racer, yet she could also jump with ease. Never have I seen a more athletic horse. She managed to jump six feet at the end of her career, and I have never had a horse so multi-talented and skilled in racing, jumping, and dressage. In her era, the amount of points Jamie earned was incredible, and far more than any of her opponents. Her only fault is she used to get bull headed. If she had had enough, she had the strength and the brains to evade the work or just take off. However, that was when she was young, and she outgrew most of it. She was Silver1's top choice to win the Iron Horse in 2005, but when it was cancelled our hopes were kind of dashed. Jamie is a fantastic one-of-a-kind mare, who proved herself by winning the Twilight Stakes, a feat many would brag about, and by having a very successful career on both Silver's Stable, and Major Horse Shows, although Silver's Stable was where she spent most of her career. Jamie was, and still is, a stunner in the pasture, and she is usually the one to greet visitors and old friends with a cheerful hello. She has foaled one colt, sired by Geronimo, and will hopefully be topping the brood charts as she finished one career, and has started another; as a mother.
