About Her
Dalia is the stunning twin of Reveille. She is a beautiful dark bay, with tons of motion and a gorgeous head and conformation. She is everything we could have asked for in a show filly, and we are extremely excited about her AHAC show career. Dalia, unlike Reveille, isn't as in your face. She can turn it on, like most Arabians, but she isn't a natural show off unless in the ring with a huge crowd. At home she is very laid back, and almost a little nervous, although she can be a cuddle bug when she feels like it. She looks like a scared little foal next to the huge, confident Tsornin. However, when the time comes, she still has that Versace flair every time. Dahlia definitely outdid herself in 2008 and went above and beyod expectations. She achieved the highest AHAC honors, the Legion of Masters, and in 2009 she will be going on "maturnity leave" to have her first foal. After that, it is undecided if she will go back into the show ring, and I guess only time will tell. She has always been a mare who liked the crowds, but didn't love them, and prefered to kick back at home and spend time grazing in the beautiful pastures of Godolphin, or enjoy a wither scratch with another mare. After two hard years of showing, plus achieving her Legion of Masters, we're pretty sure she has earned some time off to just be a horse.
