Status: Getting Broke Race Name: Belladona Barn Name: Bella Colour: Bay Markings: Blaze & 1 Front & 1 Hind Sock Height: 16'1 Hands Gender: Filly Age: 2 Breed: Thoroughbred Sire: Xenophon Dam: Fly High Silver Discipline: Turf/Dirt Racer Bred By: Godolphin Stables & Fail Scene Stables Stable Color: Sky Blue
About Her Bella is calm and mellow, and great to work with off the track. She loves attention, like getting brushed and worked. Plus she is a total flirt, blowing equine kisses to all the young colts everytime one goes by, but she doesn't let it come between her and her racing. She get's a little hot and wound up when she is ready to race, which makes her a bit of a crowd-pleaser. Bella has a huge blaze just like her full brother and acts a lot like him, except she is a little mare-ish. She doesn't like it when you push her around, get mad at her, whip or kick her, or basically ride her too agressively. Nothing comes between her and the win unless you have seriously ticked her off and she is in a mood and wants to buck you off, which trust me, she will. She has a feiry spirit and get's hot on the track, but off the track she is pretty calm, and won't take crap from any horse, or human, because she is always the queen bee of the stables. We hope she will live up to her brother and lead on the Xenophon lines with pride.

The Race Roleplaying Advice Strengths: Bella is a no nonesence kind of filly. She is big and powerful, and if ridden properly her speed and stamina are undeniable. With her brother to live up to she has big shoes to fill, but I would rather be on her back than any other filly out the right now. I wouldn't trade her for any of them. Matty also knows not to stress her out or pressure her just to live up to her brother. They are in no hurry and if Bella needs time, Matty will wait until she can handle it. Her racing strategy is a front runner. She breaks great from the gate, fast and agile and can get to the lead. She sets the pace and has the stamina to hold it out, but around halfway through Matty drops her into third. This annoys her and she starts to build herself up until at the end Mads lets her loose for her all at the final furlong. Not many horses have the speed let alone endurance and stamina that this filly has.
Weaknesses: Bad starts are Bella's worse enemy. Every once in a blue moon she is bound to have one but we hope not, and then she has to waste energy to recover, but Matty will usually sit her in second or third for most of the race if it is a bad start. Bella will most likely pull through and place high, but she won't do as well as when she is the front runner. We have high hopes for this filly, so we will just hope that her starts are clean and she gets to the front early.
