We at Godolphin are well known for the quality of horses we breed and we welcome you to our grounds for our fourth annual foal crop to bring home one of our carefully bred sweethearts. These events only happen once a real life year, and since we ran out of time with Christmas and school this year, we decided instead of breeding four more foals that we would find the previously sold foals from past sales, that didn't have an opportunity to succeed when their owners went inactive, and give them a fresh start. Four foals have been found and will be included in this foal crop as well as five brand new weanlings by our purebred Arabian stallion, Reveille. This crop merges the best of SIM with the best of All-SIM, and we are excited to present our nine beautiful horses for sale this year. Every horse is Godolphin bred, and you may view our Sales Contract here.
At Godolphin we really believe in breeding the best, and we are known for putting in the time and effort it takes to produce champions. Since our first establishment in SIMs, five years ago, we have adorned the title Godolphin Stables, and until the day we leave, it will remain so. Consistency is a major part of our program, and we are looking for consistent homes that will give our foals the opportunity to succeed. After five years we started to want to explore more. GS, over the years, has achieved many many racing titles, as well as some eventing titles, but we wanted to venture out (of course while still maintaining our well known and established racing and eventing program). We stumbled upon the All-SIM circuit of WF, and purchased some breedings and broods, and like always, bred our own horses. We were rewarded with three beautiful Friesians, and four purebred Arabians.
Our foundation and GS-bred stallion Versace (Bask x Midnight Belle), two years before, had taken the SIM nation by storm, and produced many a quality foal, however we hadn't invested in Arabians further. This was mainly because almost every Arabian in SIM was somehow related to him, making the field for purchases very small. Now we are dipping our toes into the AHAC and having a little fun with our small group of Arabians and Friesians, while still going strong with our Thoroughbred flat racers and eventers in SIM, which we are most known for.
This foal crop boasts three foals from our champion producing Thoroughbred sire, Smiles Boo, a Godolphin homebred. Also, a full sister to Reveille, GS Viva Versace. These four six year-olds were actually foaled in the Fall of 2005, but since their owners decided to quit SIMs, they are now up for sale for the second time. They were never shown, and if you are from SIM you will most likely know the lineage past sire and dam on these horses, but if you are from All-SIM and would like more lineage information, just ask.
To sum up our sale, we are offering the first five offspring of our purebred Arabian stud colt, Reveille. Reveille is quickly following in his legendary sire's footsteps. Already he is nearing his Legion of Honor title, and for the 2008 AHAC season he will be competing in Futurity Colts, Classic Head Colts, and Western Pleasure Futurity, and most likely at no lower than a regional level. We are very proud to have bred "Vale", and are extremely excited after his 2007 show season as a two year-old halter colt. We can't wait to see his five weanlings out there for 2008, and you know we will be promoting them just as we promoted Versace's offspring. Here is to the future, and we hope you enjoy our 2008 Christmas Foal Crop.
