About Him
If you want ruggedly handsome, stellar conformation, and a horse that just moves with such ease and cadence, then you found him (HAH, no he's not for sale silly). Thaaleus is the best bred Friesian to be born at Godolphin, with the ultimate cross of Celtic Sim lines and the White Oleander All-Sim lines. He used to be cheeky and a bit of a brat, but after his long show season in the SFR, he grew out of it. Our two junior stallions, Thaaleus and Myrddin, are our foundation and eventual breeding stock here at Godolphin, and both proved to be phenominal show horses - both going SFR Hall of Fame. Thale used to goof off the entire class, and while not dangerous or mean in any way, he just never liked to sit still and behave. Blowing boogers in the judges faces, chewing the lead, non-stop tail swishing and hoof stomping, not to mention bucks and half-jumps at our lovely extended trot. All that stopped at around the sixth show or so. With the long hauls and flights and all-week shows, his goofing around soon trailed off and he actually started to show off a bit. Once Thale realized the judges were staring at HIM, he took a more Tsornin approach and began to show everyone what he could do. Plus, with all the under saddle and driving classes as well, he had very little time to be screwing around, and his young jerk attitude was soon replaced with a mature horse's yearning to please, although there were some battles and yelling in between that transition. He is such a stunning horse, Matty always had faith that he would just grow out of the young rebellious stage, and he did. Once he found his purpose, and a drive to succeed, it didn't take long for Thale to climb the ranks of the SFR, and now he has reached the top, with the prestigious SFR Hall of Fame to his name.
