Kaliegh yawns, walking onto the property, Jasper following close at her heals. "Hey Mads. Came by to say hi... wow." She says, her blue eyes flickering to Major. "He's gorgeous." She walks over, rubbing the young colts neck. She smiles as Jasper's tail begins to wag. "Yah, he's friendly, sorta like Joey, eh Jasp?" Kaliegh turns back to Matabon. "If you need any help, I'm sure I can be helpful..." she turns back to the colt. "He forsale?" She asks, seeing her next big champion galloping before her eyes.

Nick smiled as he grabbed the brushes and set to work...he remembered the last time he did this at GS when he came to view Leo...he had turned out great! Nick had high hopes for the little colt here and held out a flat palm and treat to the little colt. As he gobbled up the treat he started to nip Nick for more, but a hard smack startled Willow as he snorted. He knew it was wrong and Nick had to reinforce it. Feeling a little bad though he rubbed the colt affectionately behind the ear and he chuckled as he began to burr. You are quite the character Willow...

I watched SB, and grinned. I was glad I had bred a horse she liked and would own. Walking past Kaleigh I stopped. "Well, I am not really interested in selling him just yet. But I will call you." I said before heading over to Nick. "Hows it coming. Little bugger sometimes hey?" I said as I watched Willow. He was adorable, but he had that guilty look 24/7, and I thought it rather funny.

I ruffled the colts short forelock and he sort of perked up and thought about bolting in one direction before butting me slightly in the hand. I laughed muttering 'attention seeker' under my breath smiling. He was just so cute. I continued moving my hand all over him as far as he would let me at least. The mother was quite content with me touching her baby so I gave her a little pat on the shoulder too to show her she wasn't being cut out just yet.

This was the first time she had come to GS for a foal crop and was truly excited! She couldn't wait! Hoping out of her red pickup truck she walked out to the paddocks, her bright blue eyes instantly picking out the stunning black colt known as Major. Smiling she walked over to him, knowing Matabon would come over in time. She stroked With A Twist's neck, so his mother wouldn't feel at all left out and to give Major that bit of encouragement to come to this new stranger. She needn't have done so though, he came over straight away to say hello. Maria smiled and stroked his neck softly. He was such a stunning colt, she really couldn't ask for anything more. He was definately going to be the pride and joy of GMR.

Melissa walked up eager to see the newest GS foal she would be purchasing. Smiling she instantly spotted the Man O' War filly. A chestnut filly GS Infinitee was part TB and Warmblood.

Major was stunning, and I watched as Becki went over to him. I strode over a little while later. "Well, you better like this one because you know I won't breed you another." I said cheekily as I excused myself and went over to Melissa. "Do you like her?" I said as a stroked the soft golden coat of the filly.

She's a beautiful filly. Of course any horse I get from here will be good. I mean look at Prince. All I did with him was put a saddle on him and mounted up. He did the rest. She smiled rubbing the fillies nose gently.. I can't resist a Man O' War filly either.

Amanda came in, looking for the foal in the paddock. She grinned when she saw Fatal Shot, defending his own special patch of grass from the others.

(Sorry, I didn't get to finish that post) When the green grass tickled his muzzle, he snorted, and backed away, then resorted back to his mothers milk. Amanda leaned against teh fence rail and watched with keen interest for the colt, then went to find Kim.

I went over to Melissa and Maggie. The big chestnut filly was lapping up the attention, and I showed Melissa her dam. Maggie was a sweet fillly, and not at all like Prince. She was fairly calm, and had a gorgeous floting stride. She looked to be an amazing prospect for dressage, and hunter events, including hunter jumper and showjumping. A good three day eventer. I gave her a hug and slipped her a carrot, then ran my hand down Djerba's Excile's back. The mare was shinning and fairly fit. Of course her tail was neat and done up with purple vet wrap, and her mane was combed. She looked great for a broodmare, as she had already had two foals, yet her stomach wasn't huge and sagging when she wasn't taking care of a foal. She was already starting to fit up agian, getting back on her usualy daily treadmill run along with the other broodmares. Most people would think they were show horses when they weren't in foal, and you couldn't say that they weren't happy, living at a huge stable, and eating and having foals most of the time. hard to pass up.
I went over to Amanda. "Do you like him?" I asked, as I went and ruffled his forelock. He was a meduim sized colt, a Seabiscuit son and he had a perfect round blaze. He looked so cute, but when he went over to give me a little nip I gave him a good slap. He was coltish and couldn't help it, so I cut him some slack, but all colts of Godolphin were mannerly, and for the exception of Willow, most were a lot easier to fix.

Melissa rubbed the beautiful filly's neck. Pulling out several carrots she usually saved for Prince she gave a few to the filly and her dam. Just don't tell him you had his snacks she whispered to the filly.

I watched as the last of the owners dwindled out, and the might gates of Godolphin closed shut. To re-open for the same people two and a half years later.
